Chevrolet has officially announced the return of the Trax and it is expected to be released in the Spring of 2023. The all-new second-generation model is either referred to as the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax or the 2024 Chevy Trax. Featuring an affordable price tag and a roomy design, the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax returns with more space, a dazzling redesign inspired by the Trailblazer, enhanced features, and a 137-horsepower turbocharged 3-cylinder engine.
From what we know so far, the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax is currently available in five trims, LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and Activ.

What’s New for the 2023 Chevy Trax?
After taking a break for almost a year, Chevrolet announced the launch of a thicker crossover with more safety and technological features. The outside and inside of the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax now have a longer wheelbase, providing more legroom and cargo space. Furthermore, instead of the two standard trims, the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax now comes in five trim levels. Compared to the 2022 model, which starts at an MSRP of $21,700, the new San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax is actually more affordable as its base trim starts at an MSRP of $21,495. For the middle tier 1RS and LT models, you will have to pay $23,195 and $23,395, respectively. Whereas the top-tier 2RS and Active trims will cost you around $24,995, depending on the features you opt for.

All the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax trims feature a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine under the hood. The smaller but powerful engine makes 162 pound-feet of torque and 137 horsepower. The manufacturers have coupled the singular engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission and an all-exclusive front-wheel drive. However, you can also opt for all-wheel drive. Although the smaller and simpler layout powertrain has helped in keeping prices low, the San Antonio 2023 Chevy Trax can go from zero to 60 mph in 9 seconds.
