Valmark Chevrolet Named Green Dealer
One of only 276 GM dealerships nationwide that are eligible to be recognized for their eco-friendly efforts in New Braunfels
Valmark Chevrolet is showing customers its environmental credentials and was named a 2022 certified Green Dealer. This is Valmark’s 5th consecutive year holding this certification from Chevrolet! Valmark Chevrolet has a proven track record in areas such as energy reduction, renewable energy use, water conservation efforts, recycling, onsite nature habitats and community outreach in New Braunfels.
Valmark Chevrolet is one of only 276 GM dealerships who are eligible to be recertified for this Green Dealer program. Valmark Chevrolet has a number of green practices in place on-site including:
- Energy efficiency
- Water conservation
- Waste management
- Recycling systems
- Community outreach
- Management practices
The dealership had gone through an assessment and validation that they have a high percentage of 60 eco-friendly business practices across 10 categories. This recognition today is an indication that they have continued to improve on that base of required initiatives.

The Green Dealer Program aligns with its manufacturer’s companywide efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. The program was designed to encourage dealers to implement green initiatives as part of their operations, create a network for sharing best practices, and help other dealers begin or advance their sustainability journey.
